Yemassee, SC – Four Injured After SUV Crashed into 18-Wheeler on I-95
Yemassee, SC (September 22, 2022) – Four people were hurt following a two-vehicle collision in the Yemassee area on Tuesday, September 20. The crash was reported on Interstate 95 near mile marker 40 at around 3:40 p.m.
It was reported that an SUV and a semi-truck were traveling on the highway when the driver of the SUV rear-ended the tractor-trailer. The vehicle crashed into the tires of the big rig and overturn after being flung underneath the cab.
Four occupants in the SUV were able to climb out through the sunroof. The victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
