Car Accidents in South Carolina
Injury accidents are often devastating here in the state of South Carolina. Unfortunately, tens of thousands of people are severely hurt as a result of accidents that take place in our state. We see countless people left with traumatic brain injuries, internal organ injuries, and other severe injuries that require medical care.
There are countless reasons why vehicle collisions often result in severe injuries for those involved. One reason is the force of the impact. When two cars collide, the force of the impact can be catastrophic. The heavier and faster a car is going, the more damage it can do.
Another reason why car crashes often result in serious injuries is because of the way our bodies are designed. We are meant to protect our vital organs, so when we are involved in a car crash, our bodies take the brunt of the force. This can result in internal bleeding, organ damage, and other serious injuries.
Finally, seatbelts and airbags often don’t provide enough protection in a car crash. Seatbelts help to keep us from being ejected from the vehicle, but they won’t do much to protect us from the force of impact.
