Suwanee, GA (February 16, 2023) – Injuries were reported in a truck accident that took place on a highway in Suwanee on the morning of Thursday, February 16.

According to local officials, the accident happened around 8 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-985 around the area of exit 4, Buford Drive. Police confirmed that a tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it was involved in a collision with one or more passenger vehicles due to reasons that are not entirely known. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged and had to be towed away from the scene.

Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Multiple parties were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
