This is why it is critical to understand your legal options if you or a loved one is struck by a car while crossing the street or at a crosswalk. Pedestrian accidents are capable of inflicting life-changing injuries on those involved.

Many clients believe that speaking with and negotiating with the insurance provider would enable them to rapidly resolve the issue. You are not looking out for your best interests, and neither are the surviving loved one’s family members. Your initial communication with an insurance company should be to submit the claim. Following that, you should see a South Carolina wrongful death lawyer.

It’s possible that while you’re going through your grief, you won’t know how important it is to move quickly to examine a potential wrongful death lawsuit. Because of the delay, you may lose access to material that is essential to proving your case. Someone has to question the witnesses as soon as possible, while their recollections are still as clear as possible. In addition, it is possible that it will take some time to accurately ascertain who is accountable for what.

At Monge & Associates, helping families who lost a loved one as a consequence of someone else’s negligence has always been our main priority.
