Stone Mtn, GA – Truck Crash Leads to Injuries on GA-78 Near I-285

Stone Mountain, GA (March 22, 2023) – At 8:30 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, March 22, a truck accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Stone Mountain.
According to Stone Mountain Police officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of GA-78 around the area of I-285. Police confirmed that a large box truck was traveling in the area when it was involved in a collision with a black passenger vehicle due to reasons that are still under investigation. The involved vehicles were badly damaged in the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were hurt in the collision. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not entirely known.
