
Smyrna, GA (February 8, 2023) – A tractor-trailer collision with injuries took place on a highway in Smyrna on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 8.
According to Smyrna Police Department officials, the accident happened around 3:34 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-285 around the area of South Cobb Drive. Police confirmed that a tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it became involved in an accident with one or more passenger vehicles. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims inside the passenger vehicles were hurt in the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not entirely known.
