Simpsonville, SC - All Lanes Closed Due to Injury Crash at SC-418 & Fairview Rd

According to data from the South Carolina Department of Public Safety’s Strategic Highway Safety Plan, speeding is one of the top five factors that cause fatalities and serious injuries in collisions in the state. According to national statistics, speeding contributes to 30% of all traffic fatalities in the United States each year. Drivers should be held accountable for their actions if they violate the law while driving.

Following an accident, insurance companies want you to get in touch with them as quickly as possible, but before you do so, you need to get medical treatment and consult with a lawyer who is knowledgeable about the legal system in South Carolina. If you want to make sure that your legal rights are protected, you have no choice except to retain legal representation. You do not want a large insurer to take advantage of you by attempting to limit your right to compensation. This is something you do not want to happen.

Damages for your personal injuries may also include certain out-of-pocket expenses you experienced as a result of the accident. In South Carolina, compensation for personal injuries may cover lost wages, medical costs, lost wages while recovering, prescription costs, and pain and suffering. Losses resulting from carelessness are occasionally covered by insurance, but you need an attorney to obtain the full value of your claim.
