South Carolina Deadly Pedestrian Crashes

There are many pedestrian-related accidents and fatalities as a result of the heavy foot traffic on South Carolina’s congested streets and sidewalks. The latest figures show that there were 55,000 pedestrian injuries and 6,516 pedestrian fatalities nationwide in 2020 alone. Being hit by a moving car while on foot increases the likelihood that you will get catastrophic injuries, and those who are hurt may be entitled to seek compensation for their losses.
