
Savannah, GA (January 13, 2023) – Five people were injured following a head-on collision involving a fire engine and a dump truck in the Savannah area on Wednesday morning, January 11.
The accident was reported at the corner of Abercorn Street and Gateway Boulevard at around 10:15 a.m. Five people involved were hospitalized for treatment of sustained injuries. Two of the victims were reportedly firefighters. All westbound lanes were temporarily shut down while emergency crews were on-site.
