Rossville, GA (January 4, 2023) – Injuries stemmed from a rear-end collision that took place at an intersection in Rossville on the morning of Wednesday, January 4. 

According to Walker County officials, the accident happened around 8:16 a.m. at the intersection of Happy Valley Road and Dry Valley Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when one suddenly slammed into the back of the other due to following too closely. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the accident. 

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Multiple parties sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties, who have not yet been formally identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. 

The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time following the crash. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.
