Ridgeland, SC – William David Lacombe Dies in Crash at SC-464 & Green Pl

Ridgeland, SC (January 13, 2022) – A Jasper County school teacher was killed after being involved in a vehicle collision in the Ridgeland area on Tuesday morning, January 11. The fatal accident took place at around 6:30 a.m. at the crossing of SC-464 and Green Place. 

Local reports revealed that William David Lacombe was traveling in a Hyundai sedan at the time of the crash. His vehicle was reportedly hit by a Chevrolet pickup truck. Lacombe sustained critical injuries and was later pronounced dead by attending medical personnel. No other injuries were reported in the crash. 

Local authorities are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal collision.
