Piedmont, SC – SCDOT Reports Injury Crash on I-85 near Exit 44

Piedmont, SC (January 1, 2023) – Delays followed a major motor vehicle accident that took place in the Piedmont area on Sunday afternoon that left at least one victim with injuries. The accident was reported at around 2:37 p.m. on January 1.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol, firefighters, and medics responded to the scene of the accident, which blocked multiple lanes on the southbound side of Interstate 85.
