Pickens, SC (January 1, 2023) – Emergency officials responded to the scene of a traffic accident that took place in Pickens that resulted in injuries. At around 6:50 p.m. on January 1, the South Carolina Department of Public Safety reported that a collision took place on Cartee Road.
According to law enforcement, a collision between vehicles occurred on Cartee Road in the area of Greenville Highway. The incident blocked the road, causing delays in the area.
DPS and firefighters out of Pickens responded to the accident to provide assistance.
EMS responded to care for the injured victim’s home site before transporting them to a local hospital.
