Hit-&-Run Accidents in South Carolina

Parker, SC - Two Officers Injured During Traffic Stop at Cedar Lane Rd & Alamo St

According to the present study, hit-and-run collision rates and deaths are both rising. In 2015, there were 737,100 hit-and-run accidents, according to estimates. This means that a hit-and-run accident occurs somewhere in the United States every 43 seconds.

Hit-and-run injury cases have unique aspects.  Even if the offender may have caused severe damage to your property and caused you to incur medical expenses amounting to thousands of dollars, he or she did not leave any contact information. Because of this, it is quite possible that there is no way for you to locate that motorist and demand recompense from the insurance company that he or she is covered by.

After being involved in a hit-and-run accident, you can feel helpless. You should be aware of your rights if someone causes an accident with you and flees the scene. Remain at the location of the accident, speak to any witnesses, and dial 911 if you were a victim. Avoid pursuing the evading motorist. This might cast doubt on who was truly to blame for your accident, and you run the danger of losing the chance to interview any witnesses. By doing this, you put yourself in danger as well.

Rarely do people anticipate suffering a catastrophic injury when strolling close to a busy road. According to the most current accident statistics, regrettably, many pedestrian accidents are reported around the state each year. In some circumstances, legal representation is necessary to secure compensation. Because we believe that those who have been wounded in car accidents have a right to a full recovery, the legal team at Monge & Associates is dedicated to making sure you receive the justice you deserve.
