When fire crews were able to gain access to the Charger, they found the bodies of a child and an adult inside. The adult was identified as 24-year-old Ryant Torenzo Furtick, who was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The child was identified as a 3-year-old girl.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes of traffic for some time following the crash, which led to extensive delays.
