Marietta, GA – Chain-Reaction Collision Leads to Injuries in SB Lanes of I-75

Marietta, GA (March 21, 2023) – Injuries stemmed from a serious chain-reaction collision that took place on a highway in Marietta on the morning of Tuesday, March 21.
According to Marietta Police, the accident happened around 8:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of exit 261, Delk Road. Police confirmed that several vehicles were traveling in the area when one slammed into the back of another, pushing it forward into another vehicle. Several vehicles in total were involved in the chain-reaction collision, which led to severe damages.
Multiple responders, including Marietta paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The left lane of traffic was blocked in the area for some time, which led to slight delays. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
