Deadly Bicycle Crashes in South Carolina
Every day, cyclists are injured or killed in collisions across South Carolina, and bicycle fatalities have been rising across the country, despite a decrease in the overall rate of collisions. In 2010, there were 14 bicycle fatalities in the state.
If a loved one was killed in a car accident, you should file a wrongful death claim. A number of complicated rules govern these claims, including who can file a claim and when a wrongful death claim in South Carolina is appropriate. When the at-fault party was the direct cause of the victim’s death, a wrongful death lawsuit is an option. A representative of the deceased should file a claim and attempt to prove the defendant’s negligence with the help of a Loris car accident lawyer.
