
Laurens, SC (May 14, 2022) – On Thursday night, May 12, emergency workers were sent to a major vehicle collision in Laurens.
According to local media, EMS crews were en route to the area around 7:53 p.m. Law enforcement authorities were present at the intersection of Chestnut Ridge Road and US-76 after the crash happened. While paramedics were on the scene, many routes were closed to outside traffic. There has been at least one injury. The seriousness of the injuries is unclear at this time.
Local officials are investigating the cause of the crash.
