Kennesaw, GA (November 10, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Kennesaw on the afternoon of Thursday, November 10.
According to Kennesaw Police Department officials, the accident happened at 4:22 p.m. at the intersection of Frey Road and Skip Spann Connector. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged in the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries in the accident and were treated at the scene by fire crews. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for further treatment, though their current conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
