Deadly Car Accidents in Georgia
You are by no means by yourself if you were harmed in a car accident in Georgia. Every Georgian will have an automobile accident once every ten years, on average. Over 70 drivers per hour are involved in car accidents on average.
A person experiences a wrongful death when they pass away as a result of criminal activity, carelessness, or faulty equipment. This means that anyone can be held liable for wrongful death, whether they behave maliciously or negligently. The estate or surviving family members of the deceased may then file a lawsuit seeking compensation from the party responsible for their passing. Although a monetary award cannot lessen the pain of such a loss, it is the only way that civil law can value the life of the deceased person, make up for the loss of the surviving, and hold the person or entity responsible accountable.
