Gwinnett County, GA (March 18, 2023) – After a collision on Thursday morning, March 16, all lanes of I-85 northbound have reopened.
Local police say that the accident caused one vehicle to overturn and resulted in a handful of injuries, though it is unclear to what degree the victims were hurt.
According to a Georgia Department of Transportation report, emergency responders arrived at the collision site near Highway 317/Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, causing traffic to be rerouted to Old Peachtree Road.
Gwinnett County officers say that the investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues. Any witnesses were asked to step forward to aid the investigation.
