Grovetown, GA (December 8, 2022) – On the morning of Thursday, December 8, a head-on collision with injuries occurred on a highway in Grovetown.
According to Columbia County officials, the accident happened in the early morning hours on William Few Parkway around the entrance to Patriots Park. Two vehicles were traveling on the highway when one crossed into the other lane of traffic, causing them to strike the second vehicle head-on. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Several responders, including Grovetown fire crews and paramedics, were called to the scene to help those in need. One person was ejected from one of the vehicles. Minor injuries were reported in several parties, who were hospitalized as a result.
