Collision-Related Injuries in South Carolina
According to data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, South Carolina has one of the highest death rates per mile traveled. More than 20% of a state’s population increased their yearly mileage on public roads between the years 2000 and 2016. According to 2018 statistics, one in every eighteen motorists in the state was involved in a collision.
Victims of car crashes and their families often experience mental and financial anguish as a direct result of the tragedy. The victim’s life may be irreparably damaged. The majority of fatalities and serious injuries in South Carolina are caused by automobile collisions. The risk of a serious or fatal accident rises in the state’s busiest cities.
Mental anguish and material hardships, such as medical costs and lost pay, are two results of such disasters (from being unable to return to work). Without the guidance of an experienced personal injury attorney, victims and their loved ones may be left reeling in the aftermath of an accident.
