Garden City, SC (December 31, 2022) – Local authorities have identified the teen who was killed following a crash involving a dirt bike in Garden City on Thursday, December 29.
The deadly accident was initially reported at the intersection of US-17 Business and Stanley Drive at around 12:30 p.m. It was later revealed that 18-year-old Brock Howze was riding a 2013 Suzuki dirt bike when he was hit by a 2016 Chevrolet SUV. The driver of the SUV was reportedly making a left turn at the time of impact.
Howze suffered fatal injuries in the collision. No additional information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal accident is in progress.
