Gainesville, GA – Update: Serious Head-on Collision Injures Several on Aviation Blvd

Gainesville, GA (March 20, 2023) – Serious injuries were reported following a head-on collision on a roadway in Gainesville on Wednesday afternoon, March 15. The involved parties have since been identified by police.

According to Gainesville Police, the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Aviation Boulevard. Police confirmed that 53-year-old Trevor Gradidge was traveling east on Aviation when he suddenly crossed into the other lane of traffic, striking a Honda Odyssey head-on. The driver of that vehicle was identified as 46-year-old Enrique Andres. Both vehicles sustained immense damage in the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Gradidge, as well as his passenger, 61-year-old Gregg Kettyle, were both taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The driver of the Honda was listed in stable condition after being hospitalized.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for some time. Police worked to quickly clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
