
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (March 9, 2023) – Around 5 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, March 8, a two-vehicle collision with injuries occurred at a Fort Oglethorpe intersection.
According to Fort Oglethorpe officials, the accident happened on Cloud Springs Road around the area of the I-75 intersection. A white SUV and one other vehicle entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with one another. The SUV sustained immense front-end damage, leaving debris all over the road in the area.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. EMS crews were seen in the area helping those who sustained injuries in the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not known at this time.
A large portion of the roadway was blocked after the accident, which led to delays.
