Ft Oglethorpe, GA – Three-Vehicle Collision with Injuries on Battlefield Pkwy 

Fort Oglethorpe, GA (June 28, 2022) – On Tuesday afternoon, June 28, a three-vehicle collision with injuries took place on a highway in Fort Oglethorpe. 

According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on the Battlefield Parkway around the area of the local Food City. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. One of the vehicles, identified as a silver sedan, sustained severe front-end damages. A black pickup truck was damaged in the back and had to be towed from the scene. 

Local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several parties sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their identities and conditions are not yet known. 

The roadway was blocked on the highway in front of Food City for some period of time as police worked to clear the scene. 

No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
