Fatal Car Crashes in South Carolina
Each year, hundreds of people die as a result of crashes that occur in the state of South Carolina. Unfortunately, we see many people lose their lives as a result of drivers who are negligent.

One of the most common causes of fatal car accidents is when one driver turns their vehicle in front of another, causing a collision. This can happen at intersections when one driver fails to yield the right-of-way, or it can happen when one driver is turning into a parking space or driveway and doesn’t see oncoming traffic.
When victims lose their lives as a result of fatal crashes in the state of South Carolina, their families often have legal options available to help them get justice. A wrongful death lawyer in Florence County can help your family pursue a wrongful death claim against the person who caused the death of your loved one.
After losing a loved one, a wrongful death claim can help you obtain financial compensation for some of the losses and damages you face. A wrongful death claim can help you get money to cover the costs associated with the funeral and burial expenses. Additionally, you can recover compensation for any medical expenses you face following the accident leading up to the passing of your loved one. Finally, families are often able to recover financial compensation for the lost earning capacity that their family has been forced to endure after losing a loved one.
Even though no amount of compensation can ever replace your loved one, having the financial resources that your family needs to deal with the sudden and overwhelming financial burdens resulting from the death can help to make the grieving process a little less stressful.
