Decatur, GA (March 21, 2023) – Injuries stemmed from a car accident that took place at an intersection in Decatur on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 21.
According to Decatur Police, the accident happened around 12:48 p.m. at the intersection of Scott Boulevard and Church Street. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with one another. One of the vehicles was struck so forcefully that it ended up off the side of the road.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
