Cusseta, GA – One Killed in Fatal Car Crash at US-280 & US-27 Intersection

Cusseta, GA (March 2, 2023) – Around 10:54 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, March 2, one person lost their life in a fatal car accident at a Cusseta intersection.
According to Chattahoochee County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of US-280 and US-27. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with one another. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged due to the accident.
Several local responders, including Cusseta fire crews and paramedics, were dispatched to the scene. One person was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident due to traumatic injuries. It is not known if anyone else sustained injuries as a result of the accident.
