Clarkston, GA (October 30, 2022) – A significant rear-end collision is said to have happened on a major route close to Atlanta on October 30 in the early evening.
At or shortly before 8:15 p.m., one automobile caught fire just before the Ponce de Leon Avenue exit ramp on southbound I-285 after an accident involving three other cars. Unmistakable evidence shows that the right and center lanes of the road were where the incident took place. The incident led to a one-hour lengthy traffic jam. Both cars had to be driven away from the crash site due to their severe damage.
Although Clarkston firefighters and medical personnel responded to the victims, it is unknown how they are doing right now.
Investigations are still being conducted on today’s incident.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time.
Georgia’s Rear-End Accident Rate
The most common and often fatal kind of car accident in Georgia and throughout the country is a rear-end collision. Fender benders, commonly referred to as rear-end collisions account for more than half of all motor vehicle-related incidents in Georgia.

Serious harm and death are still possible, even at moderate speeds. For instance, accident victims may pass away from fractured bones and spinal cord injuries.
At least 12% of all fatalities in the preceding year were brought on by rear-end incidents. Your legal rights must be immediately safeguarded regardless of the severity of your injuries or the circumstances.
Due to their increased physical limitations, persons with disabilities from these wrecks may have difficulty adapting. Even if the accident was extremely minor, you could still be liable for paying any related medical expenses and missed wages. An irresponsible driver’s emotional injury could also be hard to overcome.
Sadly, the victim is sometimes forgotten when insurance firms determine how to handle choices or how much to pay out in claims. For several reasons, including this one, anybody injured in an auto accident in Atlanta should contact a lawyer right once.
As soon as possible after the incident, a Georgia law firm should be called since being in a vehicle accident may have long-term effects.
