Cherokee, SC (December 3, 2022) – On Thursday, December 1, an automobile accident in Cherokee necessitated the assistance of paramedics.

An incident at about 4:30 p.m. caused a section of Interstate 85 southbound to be closed at the exit to Old Post Road. All the involved cars sustained significant damage, and at least two or three people—possibly more—were injured. According to officers from the Cherokee Police Department, the rescuers and towing truck removed the cars and cleaned up the area.
