Chattanooga Valley, GA (November 14, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a two-vehicle collision that took place at a Chattanooga Valley intersection on Sunday evening, November 13.
According to Walker County officials, the accident happened at 6:35 p.m. at the intersection of GA-2 and GA-193. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. It is believed that one of the vehicles may have gone through the red light. The involved vehicles were badly damaged in the collision.
Several Chattanooga Valley responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more parties were taken out of their vehicles and treated at the scene by EMS crews. The parties received minor injuries, though their current conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time following the crash. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
