Motor Vehicle Crashes in South Carolina
When the number of deaths in each state was ordered by the number of automotive miles or highway miles driven, South Carolina had the highest total. The majority of these deadly auto accidents happened in Charleston, the largest city in South Carolina as of 2016, with over 130,000 residents. Unsurprisingly, these grim statistics are mirrored on the national level. In fact, authorities say that every year in the United States, tens of thousands of people are hurt in motor vehicle accidents.
Everyone who has been injured in a car accident is entitled to fair and reasonable compensation for their pain and suffering. Nonetheless, it is sad that huge insurance firms habitually undervalue legitimate claims and sometimes refuse to pay them.
