South Carolina Auto Accidents
One of the most dangerous activities we engage in on a daily basis is driving a car. South Carolina had the country’s highest per capita rate of fatal crashes in 2018. With 1,037 fatalities, automobiles, trucks, and SUVs accounted for nearly 65% of all fatal vehicle collisions in the state that year. According to statistics, other motorists are responsible for nearly 82% of all traffic fatalities in South Carolina.
As a result of a serious car accident, victims and their families may suffer serious injuries as well as financial losses, and the resulting injuries have the potential to completely devastate a victim’s life. Car accident victims may face medical bills, lost wages due to inability to return to work, and long-term pain and suffering. Dealing with the aftermath of a traffic accident without the help of a Charleston personal injury lawyer can be overwhelming for victims and their families.
