Charleston, SC (May 14, 2022) – In the aftermath of a vehicle collision in the Charleston region on Saturday, May 14, there were verified injuries. Near 1:34 p.m. the collision happened at the junction of Interstate 526 and Ashley River Road.

 Emergency personnel were seen at the scene of the crash. The accident left at least one individual with unknown injuries. As first responders tended to the victims, the area was briefly blocked to outside traffic. Ambulances were sent to evacuate people who needed special attention to nearby hospitals. There have been no more details on the accident as of yet.

The cause of the accident is still being investigated. As the investigation proceeds, more information will be provided.
