Canton, GA – I-575 Auto Accident Near Canton Rd Leaves Victims Hurt

Canton, GA (March 18, 2023) – Injuries were reported in a serious car accident that took place on a highway in Canton on the evening of Saturday, March 18.

According to Canton officials, the accident happened around 9:50 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-575 around the area of Exit 4 before Canton Road. Police confirmed that several vehicles were traveling on wet roads when they became involved in a chain-reaction collision that led to extensive damages, leaving debris scattered all over the roadway.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other Canton responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. Multiple parties sustained injuries in the accident and were treated at the scene by EMS crews. The parties were then taken to local hospitals for further treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
