Burton, SC (November 17, 2022) – A head-on collision in the Burton area resulted in a child being seriously injured on Wednesday afternoon, November 16. 

The crash occurred on Roseida Road at around 4:30 p.m. It was reported that a passenger vehicle and a van collided head-on at the scene. Two children were reportedly traveling in the passenger car, but only one suffered serious injuries. The injured party was transported to a local hospital to be treated. 

It is unknown if anyone else involved was hurt as only one hospitalization was confirmed.

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
