Atlanta, GA – Two Injured in Rollover Accident on Buford Spring Connector

Atlanta, GA (March 5, 2022) – Two people were injured in a rollover accident that took place on a major highway in Atlanta on Saturday morning, March 5. 

According to police, the accident happened at 4 a.m. A vehicle was traveling on the Buford Spring Connector when the driver lost control due to unknown reasons. The vehicle suddenly left the road, causing it to roll onto the northbound lanes of I-75 near Northside Drive. The vehicle was badly damaged as a result of the accident. 

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two people, identified as the driver and the passenger in the vehicle, were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. Their identities and conditions are not known at this time. 

Due to the severity of the collision, four lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. Police confirmed that there were major delays in the area for approximately one hour. 

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
