Atlanta, GA (January 1, 2023) – A vehicle accident took place in the midtown section of Atlanta during the evening hours on Saturday that left two people injured. On December 31, the Atlanta Police Department was notified that a crash took place on Peachtree Place Northwest.
According to law enforcement, just after 11:15 p.m., two vehicles collided on Peachtree Place Northwest at the intersection of West Peachtree Street Northwest. The incident blocked multiple lanes, causing delays in the area. The Atlanta Police Department and area firefighters responded to the scene to block the intersection.
Authorities worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the site of the accident.
Medics treated injured victims at the scene. Two people were then transported to area hospitals for further medical care.
