Atlanta, GA (February 24, 2023) – On a busy Atlanta roadway on Friday, February 24, two to three drivers crashed, apparently injuring several people.

Around the area of Thornton Road, close to Doraville, a number of drivers collided on Highway 78 at about 6:05 p.m. Before the Atlanta Police Department arrived, all traffic in the left and center lanes had been blocked.

The accident possibly injured two or three persons, and paramedics from Atlanta rushed to the site to provide aid. The victims have been sent to a hospital, although their conditions are unknown.

The APD says that this week will see the conclusion of their probe into the event. The investigation remains active in the interim.
