Atlanta, GA (February 6, 2023) – At 6 p.m. on the evening of Monday, February 6, a tractor-trailer collision with injuries took place in Atlanta.

According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of GA-166 around the area of I-285. Police confirmed that a tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it was involved in a collision with a red sedan. Photographs taken at the scene showed that the tractor-trailer collided with the rear of the sedan, causing damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other Atlanta responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Multiple parties sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not entirely known.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for some time. This led to extensive delays in the area until police were able to clear the scene.
