Atlanta, GA (February 17, 2023) – Around 11:30 a.m. on the morning of Friday, February 17, a car accident with injuries took place on a highway in Atlanta.

According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Moreland Avenue. Police confirmed that several vehicles were traveling at high speeds on the highway when they became involved in a collision, causing one of the vehicles to violently spin out in traffic. The vehicles sustained immense damages in the collision.

Atlanta responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were hurt as a result of the collision. EMS crews were seen assisting those with injuries, who were then taken to local hospitals for treatment.

Two right lanes of traffic were blocked for some time. Police urged those traveling through to use Memorial Drive as an alternate route.
