Atlanta, GA (February 19, 2023) – At least two persons were injured in a collision on a major Atlanta route on Sunday, February 19.

According to reports, two to three persons were hurt when multiple vehicles collided on southbound I-75/85.

On Sunday evening, Atlanta police published the initial results of their investigation. The collision happened on southbound I-75/85 near 10th Street at 12:20 p.m., and the rightmost traffic lanes were likely occupied by two or three vehicles at the time of the accident.

The APD and other emergency services arrived at the scene quickly. One or two individuals involved were injured severely enough to need hospitalization; however, the nature of their injuries was not divulged.

Police in Atlanta said in a statement that they are currently examining the causes behind the crash. An investigation remains active at this time.
