Atlanta, GA (January 25, 2023) – Several victims suffered injuries after multiple cars crashed on I-75 near the Chattahoochee River, according to reports provided by the Atlanta Police Department on Wednesday, January 25th.
Around 1:00 p.m., APD officers responded and reportedly pinpointed the wreck to northbound I-75, just past the exits to both Mt. Paran Road and Northside Parkway.
It is unknown how many people were harmed to the point where they needed emergency services at the site, but at least two were sent to the hospital for mild to moderate injuries.
Firefighters spent a long time trying to put out a car fire caused by the collision, closing the roadway for at least two hours. An investigation remains active at this time, however, and additional details are not currently available.
Our thoughts are with those who were hurt, and we hope they make a full recovery soon.
