Atlanta, GA (February 18, 2023) – On a busy Atlanta route on Saturday evening, two automobiles crashed, causing several victims to suffer injuries.
The collision occurred near the exit from I-75/85 southbound to Langford Parkway around 11:30 p.m. in the evening, according to Atlanta Police officers.
An initial investigation revealed that two vehicles collided when traffic slowed in the area while they were going in the left southbound lanes. One of the vehicles, a midsize car, was found on the shoulder with its roof up.
The Atlanta Fire Department rescue team, as well as police and paramedics, were promptly sent to the area. However, the extent of the injuries sustained by the car’s lone passenger is unclear.
The severity of the incident resulted in delays that lasted until the later morning on the left side of the roadway, which was almost completely shut down.
According to Atlanta officials, the circumstances of the crash are still being examined.
