
Atlanta, GA (February 5, 2023) – Emergency crews out of Atlanta responded to the scene of a major multi-vehicle crash that took place on Saturday morning that ended in injuries.
Around 1:45 a.m., on February 4, the Georgia Highway Patrol responded to a traffic crash that took place on the downtown connector, Interstate 75.
Preliminary reports indicate that several vehicles were involved in a collision on the southbound side of the interstate. The incident blocked the road near Williams Street at exit 249C.
Highway Patrol and area firefighters blocked off multiple lanes while providing assistance on site.
At least one person suffered injuries in the crash and had to be transported to a local hospital.
The Georgia Highway Patrol is actively investigating the crash.
