Atlanta, GA (November 23, 2022) – Around 7 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, November 23, a multi-vehicle accident with injuries happened on a highway in Atlanta. 

According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Jonesboro Road. Police confirmed that several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed away from the scene. 

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other Atlanta responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were hurt as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known. 

The left lane of traffic was blocked in the area for a period of time. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.
