Atlanta, GA – Multi-Driver Crash on I-75/85 at I-20 Injures Victims
Atlanta, GA (September 15, 2022) – On September 15th, a number of persons were hurt in a vehicle accident in Atlanta, Georgia.
At about 5:05 p.m., local officials reported that an accident occurred on northbound Interstate 75/85 due to a large backup of vehicles at the I-20 transition ramp. A third vehicle tried to enter the flow of traffic on the highway from the right lane when the collision occurred.
Atlanta-area first responders reported to the accident site, including paramedics, firemen, and a handful of others. As a precaution, the wounded were all sent to a medical establishment nearby for treatment. Still, no new information about their conditions has been provided to the public.
At this time, the investigation’s findings are still unknown, and police have not offered additional information.
Our thoughts are with those who have been harmed as a result of this incident, and we hope for their full recovery.
Rate of Accidents on Atlanta’s Busy Freeways
Georgia reports an average of 70 traffic accidents per hour. A number of these collisions were caused by either erratic or reckless drivers. There is a greater risk of severe injury or death in these types of incidents when they occur at busy junctions or on congested roads.
An estimated 1.5 million accidents occur annually in the United States due to careless driving. People who caused the disaster should take the brunt of the responsibility, even though the victims will experience the impacts. Those who have experienced physical or mental trauma at the hands of external forces often feel helpless and confused.
