According to the Atlanta Police Department (APD) and Georgia troopers, the incident happened just before the eastbound I-285 exit to Moreland Avenue around 5:00 p.m.

Firefighters and medical personnel were among the first to reach on the site, and they report that at least two persons were injured.

Due to the right lanes and exit ramp being closed for more than an hour, there was significant traffic congestion in the region. While the event’s cause is still under investigation, no other information has been disclosed.
